What makes you special?

Daniela is a Colombian journalist, and mom of two Danish-Colombian children, who arrived in Denmark in 2013. Although it was her studies that brought her to Scandinavia, she built her professional career first as an entrepreneur in the area of Global Mobility in 2016. She then worked in the university sector for several years and later immersed herself in the political internationalization efforts of the City of Aarhus.
However, in 2023, Daniela faced challenges with her overall health, putting her daily life into perspective, opening the possibility to restructure her thinking, her everyday dynamics, her perception of herself, and hence her future. In a moment of clarity, she questioned herself about what made her special, believing this would be the key to moving forward into her next life chapter and overcoming the challenges she was facing.
Though answering what one could see as a simple question wasn’t particularly easy, today she wears her 'I Can and I Will' ring with pride. She set on her first emeralds a strong purpose, which simultaneously is a memento of the difficult times she has been through and a clear image of herself overcoming them. She confirms that seeing the green gems and remembering what they represent pushes her through any situation.

With this personal experience, and understanding that people do not tend to remind themselves often enough of what makes them special, Daniela found that the high-quality pieces created for Oro Muisca could fulfill an even greater purpose than their innate luxury. Each unique stone could become a personal reminder, a memento, or the purpose needed to take the next step.
With that in mind, Oro Muisca is more than a luxury jewelry brand. Oro Muisca symbolizes the embrace of one’s true self.
